What types of sedation dentistry are there?
Happy gas is one of the easiest sedation techniques, but it is not the only option. Oral sedation is a prescribed pill, usually Halcion, that a patient takes before a dental appointment.
Another sedation administration, intravenous (IV) sedation, is especially helpful for invasive surgeries. Most patients feel like they slept through the entire process with IV sedation.
